edit introduction

Kayla Neves is a Canadian actor and a recent graduate of the Acting for Film and Digital Media Program at Niagara College. Growing up in Brampton, Ontario, Kayla discovered her passion for acting throughout her time in elementary school. From that moment onwards, Kayla knew she wanted to pursue an acting career. While attending film school, Kayla had the opportunity to be featured in student films. As an actor, Kayla has credits in The Summer I Met Sophie, What Happens In The Women's Washroom, and What If Something Goes Wrong?, a film she also wrote and directed.  During her time at Niagara College, Kayla studied the Meisner Technique with Lori Ravensborg and Stephanie Jones. She also studied commercial voice with Christian Potenza and basic stunt training with Edward Queffelec.

Besides acting, Kayla loves writing and directing, and after creating her first short film, she has started to write her next project, with hopes to do more of this work in the future. Kayla is also a mezzo soprano and enjoys singing and studied voice with Barbara Mantini while at college. She’s a fan of video games, reading graphic novels, and spending time with her friends and family.

Kayla looks forward to stepping into the industry full time and making a name for herself.
